On Friday, The Sweet n Sassy Connection had their FIRST VSN. I hosted the 5th challenge, Christmas Song themed card. I used the Away In a Manger digital stamp from Sweet n Sassy. I colored the image with Copic markers. I used Stampin Up card stock. The Designer Paper was given to me by a friend the day I made the card. I thought it was perfect because it had stars all over it and that's what let the shepherds to Jesus.......a star! I rubbed the edge of the image and the sentiment card stock with Stampin' Up's Crushed Curry ink to give it a vintage look. In the corners of the matting of the image I used brads from Stampin Up. I punched the edge of the sentiment card stock with the scallop border punch from Stampin Up. I added about 10 strands of gold string to give just a little extra to the card.
