Christmas Song themed card

On Friday, The Sweet n Sassy Connection had their FIRST VSN.  I hosted the 5th challenge, Christmas Song themed card.  I used the Away In a Manger digital stamp from Sweet n Sassy.  I colored the image with Copic markers.  I used Stampin Up card stock.  The Designer Paper was given to me by a friend the day I made the card.  I thought it was perfect because it had stars all over it and that's what let the shepherds to Jesus.......a star!  I rubbed the edge of the image and the sentiment card stock with Stampin' Up's Crushed Curry ink to give it a vintage look.  In the corners of the matting of the image I used brads from Stampin Up.  I punched the edge of the sentiment card stock with the scallop border punch from Stampin Up.  I added about 10 strands of gold string to give just a little extra to the card.  The card is entered in the following challenges:

2 Sisters challenge # 67 ~ Holiday
Sweet n Sassy Stamps 1st VSN ~ SNSS1VSN5
Challenge Up Your Life # 57 - Music
Craft Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge ~ CHNC challenge # 48 vintage
Hiding in my Craft Room ~ HIMCR #22 Mix It Up! Holiday

Non traditional Colors Christmas Card

I created this non traditional colors Christmas card for the VSN challenge at Sweet n Sassy Connection.
SNSS1VSN14.  I am also entering into the Sweet Stop Sketch challenge: SSS136.  I used the Sweet n Sassy image Snow Much Love.  I used Stampin Up card stock, designer series paper, and ribbon.  I used White Liquid Pearls.  I added Stampin Up Dazzling Details to the swirls on the image and the large snowflake.  The snowflake is a clear stamp from the Snowflake Silhouettes from Sweet n Sassy.  I stamped it in Stampin Up's Brocade Blue ink.  I matted the snowflake on Stampin Up's Silver Glimmer paper and sat it up on dimensionals.

Stampin' Up Christmas Card class

These are some of the cards that I made for the Stampin' Up Christmas Card class I had on November 19th.  I had a good turn out for the class and we had a really good time!  I wanted to focus on glimmer paper, it was requested of me.  We made 6 cards and I note pad holder.  The note pad holder was made out of a clear stamp case.  We added a note pad in the case and used Designer Series paper to decorate the case.  Ribbon was added to the case as decoration and as a pen holder.  The not pad had to be cute down by an inch in length to fit into the case.  The cases turned out really cute and were a big hit.  I created a few different style cards one of which was an easel card!  The Christmas tree, green card, was the easel card.  I used Holly Berry Bouquet as the designer series paper for all of the projects.  I fell in love with the new cherry cobbler ribbed ribbon from Stampin' Up, it is truly my favorite ribbon!!  Some of the stamps sets that were used were: Christmas Lodge, Pennant Parade, Forest Festivities, Stitched Stockings, The Sounding Joy, Bells and Boughs, and Hand Penned Holidays.

Snowman Soup

I just LOVED making this card!!  I used The Snowman Soup digi from Sweet n Sassy Stamps.  I colored the image with Copic markers.  I paper pieced the mug with my blue and silver glitter paper.  I added brown and white grogain ribbon to the mug and handle.  I used Stampin' Up card stock and Designer Series paper that matted the image.  I embossed the chocolate chip card stock with a snowflake folder.  I added a snowflake to the mug as just a little extra something.
I entered this card in the following challenge:
Sweet n Sassy Digi Challenge - SNSDC28

Snow Birds

I used the Sweet n Sassy digi Winter Love Owls.  I colored the image with Copic markers.  I used Stampin' Up Melon Mambo and Whisper White card stock.  Designer Series paper is Echo Park Holly Jolly Christmas.  I used Sweet n Sassy twine from The Twinery: Lilac, Pink Sorbet, Cappuccino, Peapod, and Caribbean.  I cut out the image and mat with the Petite Ovals Large Spellbinder.  I added a large snowflake to the twine and small brads, from Stampin' Up, for just a little something extra.

Marshmallow Winter

I have fallen in love with this image.  Stampfairy digi "George1" and "Freebie Marshmallow".  I colored the image with Copic markers and used Crystal Stickles for the snowman and snow (since snow glistens in the sun).  I used SU card stock and SEI patterned paper.  I also added Blossom and Caribbean twine from The Twinery,  I used SU dimensionals to lift up the marshmallow instead of using buttons (just thought it was much cuter).  I am entering this card in the following challenges: Stamp Fairy Sketch Challenge and

I'd be nuts without you!

This digi is from MelJen Designs (I LOVE it) "Acorn Mouse" I colored the image with Copic markers.  I punch the edge of the brown card stock with a Martha Stewarts border punch.  I added cappuccino and tangerine twine from The Twinery over a brown glittery ribbon.  I also added yellow/white and yellow flowers in the corner!  I am entering this card in the following challenges: MelJen Designs challenge #74 and Craft Your Passion Challenges # 74 and Make It Monday #53

I covered 2 Composition notebooks.  The first notebook is covered with patterned paper and then I used Sweet n Sassy digi stamp as the image and the Sweet n Sassy sentiment.  The 2nd notebook is just covered with patterned paper.  Quite easy but they make cute and quick gifts!  I am entering this at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge which can be found here.
